IDEAM & Collective Innovation in the MidWest
SCS are proud to be an established spring manufacturer playing a crucial role in MedTech in Limerick. Our team were delighted to participate in IDEAM‘s recent company visit to the Stryker Facility in Limerick. IDEAM exists to support businesses to collaborate, innovate, and grow with a focus on digitalisation and green transition. These events bring businesses together to share knowledge, identify collaboration opportunities, and strengthen connections, which in turn benefits the region’s capabilities.
The event began with presentations by members. SCS Technical Sales Engineer Dyane Gallivan was able to showcase the expertise has in R&D, New Product Introduction and Product Development particularly in the MedTech market.
Afterwards Stryker facilitated a tour of the facility’s medical manufacturing floor for knee replacement product “Triathlon”. Stryker is one of the world’s leading medical technology companies active in over 100 countries around the world. The Limerick site has been in operation for over 50 years and specialises in medical devices for joint replacements, CMF, Spine and T&E.
IDEAM event brought SMEs together with a Large Multinational to exchange ideas, innovations and solve problems. SCS are delighted to contribute to this initiative where specialists in the industry can grow and innovate together.
