The Gen X Centreless Grinder removes material with sub-micron consistency, while the laser gauging system captures real-time dimensional data, eliminating manual inspection and feedback delays.
Bringing grinding and gauging in-house streamlines production flow, reduces handling steps and strengthens traceability throughout the manufacturing process. Engineers can now specify tolerances as tight as ±2 µm, achieve finer surface finishes that extend fatigue life, and validate each batch against ISO-aligned quality protocols. This capability sits alongside SCS’s ISO 13485 medical-device clean-room and AS9100 aerospace workflows, creating a truly integrated production environment.
