Precision wire components are only as good as the evidence behind them. SCS runs one quality management system, compliant to all three standards: ISO 9001 for Industrial applications, AS9100D for Aerospace and ISO 13485 for Medical applications.

02Inspection & measurement

Evidence over assurance.

At these diameters, a component that is merely close enough is a component that fails downstream. So verification is built into the process rather than added at the end.

Dedicated quality team

A quality function that owns inspection, documentation and continuous improvement, not an afterthought bolted onto production.

Dimensional inspection

Components verified on equipment that reports against tolerance, so 'inspected' means measured, not glanced at.

Visual inspection

Surface, form and finish checked against the drawing, including the defects a gauge won't catch.

100% inspection where required

For critical features and regulated work, every part is checked rather than sampled.

Certificates of conformance

Documentation issued against the order, tying what shipped back to the specification it was made to.

Full traceability

From the incoming wire certificate through to despatch, so any component can be traced to its material and run.

03Material supply

Traceable to the ingot.

A component is only as good as the wire it starts from. Our material comes from long-standing supply partners, and every batch traces back through its certificate to the ingot it was drawn from.
